Kate is the original online addict – she keeps up to date with the digital world so you don’t have to.
Having worked in a variety of online roles since 2001, I immerse myself in the digital world every day, keen to learn more and find out about the next big thing online.
I have built up a fantastic online network through many digital channels, and I regularly attend seminars and belong to forums and clubs, which extends my circles further.
I feel privileged to be working with such a dedicated team at Octopus Admin, and love working proactively with them to bring a fresh and innovative approach for our clients. In my spare time I love to travel, keep fit and I probably spend too much time on social media. All for work purposes of course!
Glennis loves a challenge, whether it’s balancing the books or diving the world’s oceans
I have spent over 20 years as an accountant within the New Zealand wine industry, starting with Montana Wines Ltd and ending with Winegrowers of Ara Ltd.
Naturally, wine is still one of my passions to this day. In the last few years, my husband and I have travelled and enjoyed house sitting in Europe and New Zealand. Now, I have been fortunate to be able to combine work and pleasure as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in Whitianga.
Creativity is in Kathyrn’s DNA – she brings an inspired approach to every job she undertakes.
I consider myself a positive people person with great communication skills in all areas of life. I am passionate about customer service and always strive to provide the best experience possible. During the 11 years when I ran my own costume hire business, customer service was paramount.
Not only was customer service essential to the success of my business, but in my role as a baker and when I was managing the outdoor markets at Victoria Park. I currently also hold a customer service position at Air New Zealand and we are assessed constantly on our performance in the area of providing excellent customer service. I studied Fashion Design at AUT and graduated in 2001.
I love creative activities and I am always looking for creative ways I can support the businesses I work with at Octopus Admin. In my spare time, I enjoy creating new garments, cake decorating, rock climbing and spending time with my family and rescuing an interesting array of pets.
Jeni knows the media world inside out – from writing to printing she’s done it all.
My working life began in the printing industry where I became a jack-of-all-trades, handling sales, customer services, invoicing and debtors in MYOB – as well as operating a Mac to prepare files for print, and assisting in the print room.
I then became an account manager and later production manager, and was valued as a problem solver and systems implementer.
Returning to my first love, the media, I worked as a print production manager, learned the ropes as a sub-editor on New Idea, and later became a layout sub-editor and tabloid writer for NZ Truth Weekender.
I left to go on maternity leave, and now, five years and two awesome kids later, am studying English and Media Studies at university to further hone my writing and media skills.
I am excited to be working for the fabulously innovative Octopus Administration and excited to offer my skills to Octopus’ clientele.
In my spare time I tinker with portrait drawing and have taken part in the 100 Days Project for the past two years - a real test of dedication and a fantastic challenge!
